Inclusive and adapted dance training
With Florent Devlesaver
Integrated, adapted and inclusive dance.
Florent Devlesaver is one of Belgium's leading French-speaking figures in contemporary dance. What makes him special? He dances in a chair.
Since 2018, Florent has multiplied his projects, notably within companies, and has turned his disability into a strength and an individual singularity. In particular, he offers workshops in schools and inclusive dance courses, open to people with motor and mental disabilities or visual impairments.
After several trips abroad, he realized that the range of integrated, inclusive and adapted dance on offer in Belgium was limited. His wish is to multiply initiatives in this field.
From November 17 to 21, he will be at the Mosa Ballet School to offer a training course for dance teachers. Participants will have the opportunity to acquire the theoretical (the first three days) and practical bases for adapting their classes to an audience with special needs.
Language: French
